2 excursions are organised on Sunday September 1 to allow you to discover Athens:

Excursion 1 - Athens Tour with Acropolis & Acropolis Museum | 9:00-12:00
With the 3 hours sightseeing and Acropolis museum tour, you will see some of the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens. Hear insightful commentary from your guide, and pass ACROPOLIS (visit Propylae the gateway, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens). Stroll up to the UNESCO-listed site that served as the ancient citadel, and tour the buildings as you hear how they reflected Athens’ prosperity in the 5th century BC.

Excursion 2 - Athens Panorama Tour | 14:00-16:00
This guided 2 hours tour will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens. The tour includes the Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896, the Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Athens Trilogy (the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library), the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Parliament, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church.

A Welcome Reception will be organised on Sunday at 19:00 at the Zappeion Conference & Exhibition Center. The Reception is free of charge but subject to registration. All participants are invited to join!

The organisers cordially invite you to attend the banquet on Wednesday, September 4 at 20:00. The banquet will take place at the Ble Pavillon. In an elegant and functional space with rich wooden decor, lush garden, streams and spectacular sea views, you will find an idyllic and unique environment that will offer you unforgettable moments with friends and colleagues.

The participation in the dinner is optional, and subject to prior booking at the price of 80 €. The price includes bus transportation.
